Standard lithium-ion uses a graphite anode. We use silicon-carbon — the same chemistry that’s powering next-generation EVs.
The density problem
Graphite stores about 372 mAh per gram of anode material. Silicon stores 3,579 mAh per gram — nearly 10× more. The catch: silicon swells 300% during charging, cracking the cell.
Our solution: a silicon-carbon composite that limits expansion while retaining 40% higher energy density than pure graphite.
What it means
Same physical cell size. 60 hours of playback instead of 40. No weight penalty. USB-C fast charge: 10 minutes for 8 hours.
Degradation
After 500 charge cycles, our cells retain 85% capacity. Industry standard is 80%. We test every cell individually before it ships — no exceptions.
